Dave Roping the skinny Cow
Today was a different day “a day at the Ranch” after 2 days of longer rides; I planned a shorter 20-mile one today. Therefore, this morning I biked to Dave’s Ranch to watch and see what he had learned so far.
My Cowboy…
After watching them for an hour, I went and had lunch with Dave and left my bike in the barn there. We went to the Mennonites deli and bakery for our lunch (mmmmm was it good) after lunch I watched some more and took more pictures, and then I left and finished my bike ride.
Later he Roped the real thing
A few miles south of here is a golf course just plunked in the middle of nowhere. There is actually a neighborhood there too. I imagine most of these people are only there for the winter. So I checked that out today by bike on my way home.
Did you know they grow these on the side of the road? You see them everywhere!!!
I can look back and say it was a nice relaxing day…
